Saluja Siwakoti ('21) Awarded PIFP Fellowship at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless

Feminist & Gender Studies is proud to announce Saluja Siwakoti (Environmental Science major and Feminist & Gender Studies minor '21) was recently awarded a fellowship at the (ڰH) in Denver, CO through the ڰ Public Interest Fellowship Program (PIFP).

ڰH is a national leader in providing integrated housing, health care, vocational and supportive services, creating lasting solutions to homelessness. As part of the Education & Advocacy Team, Saluja will be responsible for implementing activities supported by a grant from the through the . More specifically, she will help bring partners from the housing advocacy community together with other multisector partners to engage more effectively on federal housing policy issues, help ڰH expand their current base of multisector partners, address partnership gaps in sectors, such as youth and the environment, boost the visibility of their state multisector partnership to increase funding for affordable housing, and amplify racial equity in housing justice work.
