Merit Aid & Scholarships
In addition to need-based aid, ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø offers merit aid to our top applicants. We also award a limited number of competitive, application-based merit scholarships for students with interests in areas like science, public service, and equity. Read on to learn more!
Merit Aid
For students at the top of our applicant pool, ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø awards merit aid for which no separate application is required.
Our Leadership Scholarship is a four-year award totaling $60,000 ($7,500 per semester, $15,000 per year) for students with exceptional academic achievement.
When you apply for admission through the Common Application, QuestBridge Application, or Apply Coalition powered by Scoir, you're automatically considered for the Leadership Scholarship, regardless of your application round.
If you're selected, you'll be notified of your scholarship when you receive your admission decision.

Outside Scholarships
The following outside scholarships are not administered by ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø. Please click the links below for additional information.Each year, the awards renewable scholarships to some of Colorado's most accomplished high school seniors through a highly competitive selection process.
At ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø, the Boettcher Scholarship covers the the cost of tuition and fees through a partnership between the Boettcher Foundation and ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø. If a ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø Boettcher Scholar demonstrates additional financial need beyond tuition and fees, ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø will provide need-based financial aid to meet their full demonstrated need.
If you are a National Merit finalist, you must communicate to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation that ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø is your first choice college. The published deadlines for reporting a sponsor college as first choice can be viewed on page 3 of the .

The National Merit Scholarship® Corporation awards three separate and distinct types of awards. The National Merit Scholarship Corporation selects the finalists and notifies ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø. ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø is not involved in the selection process.
- National Merit $2500 Scholarships
- These single payment awards are given on a state to state basis. Scholarship monies originate from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation and there is no ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø match.
- Corporate-Sponsored Merit Scholarship Awards
- These single payment or renewable awards are designated for recipients chosen by the sponsor. Scholarship monies originate from the sponsor and there is no ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø match.
- College-Sponsored Merit Scholarships
- These renewable scholarships are given to students who are National Merit Scholarship finalists that have indicated that ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø is their first choice*, and have not received one of the other National Merit awards. Awardees receive $1000 from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, and $1000 merit match from ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø for a total of $2000 per year. This award is renewable for four years of undergraduate study.
